Payment regulation

Cancellation policy:

You can cancel your reservation without any penalty until seven days earlier before the arrival date (included). Unless there are other offers or conditions written on Foresteria Sirio’s website, if you cancel your reservation between seven and two days before the arrival date (included), you will be charged on the credit card given as a warranty the 50% of the total amount of your stay. If you cancel your reservation less than 48 hours before your arrival date, you will be charged on the credit card given as a warranty the 80% of the first two nights plus the 50% of every remaining night booked.

No Show and not respecting the check-out or late check-out times:

In case of No Show (when a guest doesn’t cancel the reservation but doesn’t come to Foresteria Sirio) you will be charged on the credit card given as a warranty the 100% of the first three nights plus the 50% of every remaining night booked.

If you don’t respect the check-out or late check-out times, Foresteria Sirio has the right to charge you on the credit card given as a warranty up to the 100% of the maximum daily rate plus any other direct or indirect further obligation that might occur on Foresteria Sirio as a consequence of the lack of respect of the check out or late ceck out tmes.

Pre-authorization:

Foresteria Sirio can check at any time the validity of the credit card given as a warranty by the guest before his arrival, by doing a pre-authorization on the card. The pre-authorization allows Foresteria Sirio to have a temporary availability of an amount equal to the highest between the 80% of the first two nights or the 50% of the total of your stay to make sure that your credit card is actually working. The pre-authorization automatically expires after maximum 20 days and the amount blocked will be released. If the pre-authorization has a negative result and your card doesn’t work, Foresteria Sirio will tell the guest and the reservation will be canceled without any further duty for Foresteria Sirio towards the guest.

Acceptance of the room and responsibility for damages:

The guest will be shown pictures and even virtual tours of the room by Foresteria Sirio’s staff before entering the room and being given the keys. If the guest notices any difference between the pictures/virtual tour and reality or any kind of damage to the room or its furniture the guest is obliged to tell immediately the staff before accepting the room. Without an explicit report of any kind of irregularity, the room has to be considered as accepted by the guest and perfectly matching the pictures/virtual tour shown at the arrival. At the check out the staff will check the room and in case of any damage the guest will be charged the exact amount required for the repair on the credit card given as a warranty for the booking.

Re-protection:

If a major event or a mistake from our side occurs and Foresteria Sirio is not able to respect the terms and conditions of a confirmed reservation, we will provide an alternative stay equivalent to ours for quality and/or price. If the guest does not accept the alternative accomodation offered, Foresteria Sirio has no further obligation towards the guest.
